About our Massage Therapists…
Molly commenced her Massage journey in early 2011, completing her Cert IV in MTP and then her Diploma in Remedial Massage in 2012. Molly & her 3 daughters moved to Evans Head in 2013. After settling into village life, Molly opened the Massage Clinic from the corner shop on Woodburn St in August 2013. With the support of the community, Molly’s practice has thrived & grown, and in 2015 was moved to larger premises where the Clinic remains today in the heart of Evans Head.
Molly’s approach to Massage is holistic in body and mind, finding a client’s source of discomfort on a physical and metaphysical level. She uses a combination of remedial and therapeutic massage techniques tailored to each client individually and believes regular maintenance massage is key as prevention is better than cure. Her special interests are in aromatherapy and healing through nurturing massage. Molly’s scope is from children through to the elderly including pregnancy and convalescence. Her goal is for you to leave feeling reduction of pain and overall improvement of well-being.
Molly has recently completed a course in Balinese Intuitive Massage, a whole-body massage technique that creates a state of relaxation to balance and heal the body. Molly incorporates this new massage technique in her current treatments to increase positive outcomes, and to enable the client to fully relax and restore at a deeper level.
Beck (Rebecca Geurts) is just one of our wonderful Massage Therapists in Evans Head. Beck started at the Clinic in early 2016 and has had 2 beautiful boys while with us, massaging through most of her pregnancy. Beck and her husband have 5 sons and have lived and worked in Evans Head for over 20 years. Working in both Clinic and home massage settings, Beck has almost 20 years of Therapeutic Massage experience, with numerous courses over the years to add skills to her repertoire.
Beck’s focus is a holistic approach – improving blood flow to tight and injured muscles, cupping and reflexology.
Charmaine loves the problem-solving aspect of massage therapy treatment, she enjoys a ‘challenge’. She commonly uses myofacial release, trigger point therapy and cupping to achieve excellent outcomes.
Char has been at the clinic for 3 years, is a Woodburn resident and has become a permanent therapist at Evans Head Massage Clinic.
